Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Craftybase raise prices?

Craftybase moved to a new pricing model in 2024, raising their entry-level plan from around $19/month to $49/month. Many long-time users were grandfathered but new signups pay full price.

Can I import my Craftybase data into FormulaLedger?

Yes. Craftybase lets you export your materials and products as CSV. You can import those directly into FormulaLedger's materials and rebuild your recipes in the product builder.

Does FormulaLedger have Shopify/Etsy integration?

Shopify and Etsy integrations are on the roadmap. Current plans include inventory management, BOM deduction, and full MoCRA compliance — with integrations planned for Q3 2026.

Do I need the Compliance plan or will Starter work?

If you only sell candles, true soap, or non-cosmetic crafts, Starter is all you need. If you sell cosmetics (skincare, lip products, body butter, anything with beauty claims), Compliance gives you the FDA-required record-keeping tools.
